RVJ Technical Services has a diverse team of consultants who have a passion and enthusiasm for making "green" multi-family housing practical and affordable. The team devotes numerous hours to researching new ways of building that will encourage resource conservation, increase energy efficiency, and reduce waste caused by construction projects.

Raymond Jones, Owner

Mr. Jones has been actively involved in the housing business since the 1970s. In 1976, Mr Jones was employed by Ryan Homes as a Land Development Manager and a Division Profit Center Manager and played a key part in opening a Ryan Homes building division in Texas as part of the company's planned expansion to the Southeast. In 1984, Mr. Jones moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to implement the business plan of Summit Properties, which aggressively developed, managed, and owned high-quality multifamily rental properties throughout the Southeast and Midwest. Mr. Jones served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operation Officer of Summit Properties, Inc.(a Real Estate Investment Trust headquartered in Charlotte, NC now known as Camden Properties) until May of 1998. During his career in real estate, Mr. Jones developed and/or built over 20,000 rental and “for sale” homes in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Florida, Indiana, Texas, New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Outside of his professional career, Mr. Jones has been active as Board member and Chairman of Charlotte Mecklenburg Housing Partnership and the Charlotte Housing Authority. Both organizations are non-profit organizations in the business of providing affordable and low-income housing to the citizen’s of Mecklenburg County. He remains active on several advisory boards within his community to the present day to include two Boards associated with the Catholic Diocese of Charlotte.

Currently, Mr. Jones actively manages his investments and serves as adviser, consultant, and investor in several ventures. RVJ Technical Services, Inc. is one such venture which researches the energy efficiency and "greening" of multifamily housing. Mr. Jones desires that this company will find solutions that will make "green" rental homes more affordable to the consumer and more accommodating to the environment.
